The Hermit Life
I am currently in the thick of my self-imposed hermitage in order to study for the GMAT. Because it's me and I'm not satisfied unless I'm doing 18 things at once (successfully), I'm also trying to get myself in the habit of working out every morning before work and starting up a volunteer program at my (already very busy) job.
Nevertheless, I am happy in my multitasking, anti-social state. Tonight was supposed to be study night, but I'm tired, studied the past two nights, and will be studying quite a bit for the next five days straight.
I took my first practice test last night using the Manhattan GMAT free one. I actually took the AWA and quant portions one night, and the verbal last night. I was expecting a horribly low score, being that I hadn't studied math in a month (and not much before that), and was going on zero sleep during the verbal. I ended up with a 640, which I can handle - hopefully with studying and some sleep, I can rock the 700's!
Off to do some review...

One piece of advice, though I am a fan of being a partial hermit for GMAT studying, also remember that you need a release. I played soccer, worked out, went to work, and studied for about 2 mos straight. Though, on the weekends, I would go out at least one night - no drinking, but let off some steam. It does the body good! :D
Thanks for the words of wisdom! I think I'm going to borrow your one night per weekend rule, and the working out and going to work are non-negotiables for me - those keep me sane!
